Mtoni River Lodge

- Overnight: Mtoni River Lodge
Perfectly positioned just a stone’s throw away from the bustling East Africa road and nestled near the tranquil Gomba estate, the lodge offers a tranquil oasis amidst the vibrant tapestry of Tanzania.
Day 2: Karatu
Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge
- This morning, transfer to Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its thriving populations of elephants, predators, baobabs and birds. Experience Tarangire’s vast plains on a game drive before proceeding to Karatu town for refreshment and overnight
- Overnight: Pamoja Ole Farm Lodge
A warm welcome and simple but comfortable accommodation awaits at Pamoja, a Kiswahili word meaning 'As One'
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
- After breakfast, you will head out for the legendary Serengeti - a place the Masai call Siringitu: “place where the land moves on forever”. Tanzania's first game reserve, the Serengeti National Park is one of the last remaining natural migration corridors and one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Its climate, vegetation and fauna have remained mostly unchanged over the past million years. The natural instinct that drives the annual Great Migration of more than a million wildebeest, gazelle and zebra is so powerful that neither drought nor crocodile-infested rivers can halt it
- Your afternoon safari here in the Lobo area combines the known with the unknown, the certainty that you will be amazed at the uncertainty of what you will see and when. A changing light, a changing distribution of animal actors, guaranteeing a new experience at every turn. Take memorable photos, but don't forget to take a deep breath and enjoy nature in its raw beauty in real time
- Overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
Mara Kati Kati is a mobile camp strategically situated in north Serengeti, ideal for exploring the Mara Ecosystem.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
- You will have a full day of discovery in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of your time, take this opportunity to enjoy the varied landscapes of the central Serengeti
- An excellent all-year round game viewing destination, the Serengeti is of course the setting for the great wildebeest migration. Sweeping across the Serengeti grasslands between November and July, the wildebeest herds create a spectacle that attracts predators from near and far. You are guaranteed heart-in-mouth game viewing
- Overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
Mara Kati Kati is a mobile camp strategically situated in north Serengeti, ideal for exploring the Mara Ecosystem.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
- Another full day of discovery and life time opportunity to enjoy the varied landscapes of the Ndutu area of Serengeti. You will also see the distinctive rock outcrops, the famous kopjes that characterize the landscape of the Serengeti
- Lunch will be an unforgettable experience, enjoyed in the middle of the bush!
- Everything here varies according to the season, but in May, November and December, the migrating herds join the already rich population of resident animals who live here all year round. During the rainy season, the landscape turns black with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest - a simply incredible sight!
- Once again, you will be accommodated in very comfortable and spacious tents that have en-suite showers – the ultimate way to ‘become one’ with nature
- Overnight: Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
Mara Kati Kati is a mobile camp strategically situated in north Serengeti, ideal for exploring the Mara Ecosystem.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Karatu Simba Lodge
- Today morning you descend into this magnificent crater for a memorable game drive. The Crater is the world’s largest intact, un-flooded caldera, formed by a massive volcanic eruption
- Your route downhill descends over the lush rainforests of the rim, 610m down to the grasslands of the crater floor, an area of about 260 square kilometers. This haven provides a year-round home to wildebeest, zebra, eland and gazelle, along with Africa’s densest population of lion. The rainforests shelter elephant, mountain buck, buffalo, hyena, wild dog, leopard, cheetah and some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino
- Spend your day game viewing and exploring the crater floor, stopping to picnic on the grasslands amidst the grazing herds
- Transfer back to Karatu for overnight as you relive your safari highlights
- Overnight: Karatu Simba Lodge
Situated deep in the farming area of the Karatu district and nestled rightalongside the Ngorongoro Forest—home to elephant, buffalo, hyena, and other wildlife—Karatu Simba Lodge offers fine hospitality for safari travellers.
